The Parasitology course introduces students to the study of parasites, their biology, and their relationship with hosts. It covers the classification, morphology, life cycles, transmission, and control of medically and economically important parasites. Students will learn how parasites affect human and animal health, as well as the diagnostic methods used to identify them in laboratory settings. Emphasis is placed on understanding host–parasite interactions, disease prevention, and public health significance. By the end of the course, learners will have a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of parasitology essential for laboratory and field applications.
